R&B singer, Summer Walker, has said a trip to Nigeria is at the very top of her bucket list, saying that she fears she might never return to the United States once she sets foot there.
In a recent chat on BBC Radio 1Xtra, the Grammy nominated artist gushed about the West African nation, confessing that she pictures herself relocating permanently with her three children.
“I want to go to Nigeria so bad. “But I’m scared because I know I wouldn’t come back. I’d grab my kids and be gone!”
Walker joked that she could happily settle in as “some African king’s third wife,” adding with a laugh, “My nyash is good. I’m ready!”
The Atlanta born star said Nigeria appealed to her because it “just seems so fun.”
She recently tasted her first Nigerian meal, though she didn’t specify the dish, and declared it “good as heck,” further fueling her enthusiasm.
Walker revealed she had planned to celebrate her 29th birthday in Nigeria this past April, but cancelled the trip when her children fell ill.
