The National Association of Nigerian Students in Diaspora has congratulated the newly deployed Nigerian ambassadors and high commissioners following the approval of their postings by President Bola Tinubu.
The association said the appointments would help strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic representation and promote the country’s interests across the globe.
This was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the President of the association, Comrade Juwon Fayomi.
Fayomi said the decision by the Federal Government to deploy the envoys demonstrated a commitment to deepening Nigeria’s diplomatic engagement with other countries and strengthening international partnerships.
“The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students in Diaspora warmly congratulates the newly deployed Nigerian ambassadors and high commissioners following the approval of their postings by President Bola Tinubu,” he said.
He added that the move would further enhance Nigeria’s global presence and foster stronger relationships with partner nations.
The association also commended the administration’s policy direction, noting that the development aligns with the government’s broader agenda on international cooperation.
Fayomi said Nigerian students studying abroad look forward to working closely with the new diplomatic missions to promote academic partnerships and improve the welfare of Nigerians pursuing their education outside the country.
