FULL LIST: US lists 130 Nigerians for deportation over fraud, other offences

The United States, Government has disclosed that no fewer than 130 Nigerians are set to be deported after being convicted of various criminal offences, including fraud, drug-related crimes, illegal possession of weapons, and assault.

The development was contained in a document published by the Department of Homeland Security and sighted on Friday, detailing individuals described as priority targets for removal.

According to the report titled “Worst of the Worst,” the action forms part of an ongoing immigration enforcement drive under Donald Trump, aimed at deporting undocumented migrants with criminal records.

The agency noted that the exercise is being carried out in collaboration with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which is responsible for identifying, arresting, and deporting offenders.

A statement accompanying the list said the crackdown focuses on individuals with serious criminal convictions, stressing that enforcement efforts are prioritising those considered high-risk.

Among the Nigerians named in the document are Boluwaji Akingunsoye, Ejike Asiegbunam, Emmanuel Mayegun Adeola, Bamidele Bolatiwa, Ifeanyi Nwaozomudoh, Aderemi Akefe, Solomon Wilfred, Chibundu Anuebunwa, Joshua Ineh, and Usman Momoh.

Others include Oluwole Odunowo, Bolarinwa Salau, Oriyomi Aloba, Oludayo Adeagbo, Olaniyi Akintuyi, Talatu Dada, Olatunde Oladinni, Jelili Qudus, Abayomi Daramola, and Toluwani Adebakin.

The list further features Olamide Jolayemi, Isaiah Okere, Benji Macaulay, Joseph Ogbara, Olusegun Martins, Kingsley Ariegwe, Olugbenga Abass, Oyewole Balogun, Adeyinka Ademokunla, and Christian Ogunghide, among others.

Additional names include Kenneth Unanka, Jeremiah Ehis, Oluwafemi Orimolade, Ayibatonye Bienzigha, Uche Diuno, Akinwale Adaramaja, Boluwatife Afolabi, Chinonso Ochie, and Olayinka A. Jones.

Also listed are Bernard Ogie Oretekor, Abiemwense Obanor, Olufemi Olufisayo Olutiola, Chukwuemeka Okorie, Abimbola Esan, Chima Orji, Adetunji Olofinlade, Abdul Akinsanya, Dennis Ofuoma, and several others.

The US authorities stated that the deportation process will be carried out in line with immigration laws, as efforts continue to remove foreign nationals convicted of crimes from the country.
