Meet Nigerian student who graduated From Russian medical school with 4.90 CGPA

A Nigerian, Dr Dorcas Akanbi, has emerged as one of the best graduating students at a medical university in Russia after completing her studies with an impressive cumulative grade point average of 4.90 out of 5.00.

The newly inducted medical doctor announced the achievement in a post shared on X on July 3, expressing gratitude as she celebrated the successful completion of her medical education.

Reflecting on her journey, Akanbi wrote, “I have finally been inducted into the medical profession. From breaking news to viral moments. From UNILAG to Russia, God did it! Dr AKANBI D.E.”

She later shared a video showing her delivering the valedictory speech in fluent Russian before fellow graduates, lecturers, university officials, family members and invited guests during the graduation ceremony.

The speech drew applause from the audience and quickly gained traction on social media, with many Nigerians praising her academic excellence and remarkable command of the Russian language.
