Updated Proof of Funds (POF) as of June 2025
With the Austrian exchange rate currently at ₦1,800 per euro, the updated minimum financial requirement per applicant is as follows:
• Students under 24 years:
€703.58/month x 12 = €8,442.96 ≈ ₦15.1 million
• Students aged 24 and above:
€1,273.99/month x 12 = €15,287.88 ≈ ₦27.5 million
• Couples:
€2,009.85/month x 12 = €24,118.20 ≈ ₦43.4 million
• Each additional child:
€196.57/month x 12 = €2,358.84 ≈ ₦4.2 million
Applicants should also note that if their accommodation costs exceed €376.27 per month, the difference must be added to the total proof of funds. For example, a student with accommodation costing €410 per month would need to show additional funds of €404.76, bringing their total required POF to approximately €15,692.64 or ₦28.2 million.
Students from other African and Asian countries are advised to convert the euro amounts into their respective local currencies for accurate budgeting.
