NiDCOM boss laments death of Nigerian woman, two children in US road crash

The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has expressed sorrow over the tragic death of a Nigerian woman, Nihinloluwa Agoro, and her two children in a road accident in the United States.

The victims, identified as Temiloluwa and Isaac, reportedly lost their lives in the fatal crash which occurred in Fort Bend County, leaving the Nigerian community in grief.

In a statement released by the Commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, on Friday, Dabiri-Erewa described the incident as devastating, noting that the family died during what was meant to be a normal trip.

She said, “The sudden loss is deeply painful and tragic for any family,” while extending condolences to the bereaved relatives.

The NiDCOM boss also prayed for the repose of the deceased and asked that God grant strength and comfort to those left behind in this difficult time.

She further wished a speedy recovery to individuals who sustained injuries in the accident.

Dabiri-Erewa urged road users to be more cautious while driving, warning against negligence that could lead to avoidable loss of lives.

She added that the Commission stands in solidarity with Nigerians in Texas and across the United States as they mourn the unfortunate incident.
