The Nigerian diaspora in Turkey has reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to the country’s growth and development, promising to harness their resources and talents in support of national progress.
Prince Emre Magboh, President of the Nigerian Community in Turkey, made this known in a statement to journalists on Monday, noting that President Bola Tinubu’s recent call for Nigerians abroad to return home and aid nation-building has been met with enthusiasm.
“The President’s words show that Nigeria is ready to embrace great ideas, skills, and investments from her citizens across the world, whether they live in Turkey, Indonesia, or elsewhere.
“For many years, Nigerians in the diaspora have longed to feel the warmth of leadership that cares about their contributions and sacrifices. Today, we are convinced that our country is not only open to us but ready to tap into our knowledge, innovations, and resources to build a greater nation.”
Magboh encouraged Nigerians overseas to heed the President’s appeal, emphasizing that bringing back their skills and experiences would fast-track national development.
He also assured that the Nigerian Community in Turkey is prepared to back government initiatives by mobilizing efforts and resources to strengthen the nation’s growth.
