U.S. President, Donald Trump has nominated Nigerian-American Ademola Adewale-Sadik, to serve as the United States Executive Director at the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group.
The nomination has been forwarded to the U.S. Senate for confirmation.
Adewale-Sadik, 37, is a seasoned professional with an impressive academic track record.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, graduating summa cum laude as a Banneker/Key Scholar.
He later obtained an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.
Once confirmed, he will be responsible for representing U.S. interests at the AfDB, a major multilateral institution dedicated to promoting sustainable economic growth and social development across Africa.
