We’re dying in silence, Nigerian woman in S’Africa cries out

A Nigerian woman residing in South Africa has called on the Federal Government to urgently intervene over what she described as worsening hostility and growing hardship facing Nigerians in the country.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, she lamented that many Nigerians are now living in fear amid what she described as an increasingly unsafe and hostile environment.

She said the situation has become unbearable for several Nigerians who depend on the diaspora community for their daily survival and livelihoods.

According to her, many affected citizens lack adequate protection, while concerns raised over their safety have not received prompt attention from relevant authorities.

She further alleged that the absence of strong diplomatic engagement has left Nigerian nationals exposed to continuous risk and uncertainty in South Africa.

“We are dying in silence,” she said in the emotional appeal, urging the Federal Government to urgently step in and engage South African authorities on their welfare.

She appealed for stronger diplomatic action to ensure better protection and fair treatment for Nigerians living in the country.
